How long will it take to get a hand painted portrait?

Turnaround time is 2-3 weeks. After an order is placed, we will send regular updates on the progress of your portrait.

What options are available for paying for my order?

Commissions are through Bank Transfer, 50% before commencing, the balance to be paid on completion and your approval before shipping.

What types of files do you accept?

We can accept photographs in a number of popular formats (.jpeg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .tiff). Don’t worry about the file size, the larger the better. A large clear picture will allow Nigel to better see the details and intricacies need to create an incredible finished portrait.

My photograph is not in a digital format. What can I do?

If possible, you may be able to have it scanned, or take a photo to create a digital image, which can then be sent to Nigel by email.

I can't decide which photograph will make a better portrait. Can you help?

Of course we can! Simply send us the photographs that you are considering. Nigel will look over your submissions and can make a recommendation on which photo would make a better portrait, and why.

Can two (or more) photographs be combined to make one portrait?

Yes, in many cases Nigel can combine multiple photos to create one beautiful portrait. Please email us the photos so we can confirm this.

Do you offer framing?

No, at this time we do not offer framing options.

Do I get to see my artwork before I receive it?

Nigel emails regular updates so that you can see the progress of your portrait, and explains different steps he is taking. This reassures you that all is well and allows you to ask any questions. We will not send your painting to you until you have approved it and are completely satisfied with the end result.

Will I receive a notification from Nigel after I place the order?

Yes, Nigel will send you an email detailing your exact requirements to avoid any confusion.

Do you accept international orders?

Due to the current Coronavirus Pandemic Nigel is not taking international orders. This will be reviewed in due course.

I want to order more than one portrait. Do you offer discounts?

We are more than willing to work with you on pricing if you are ordering several paintings from us. For more information on discount possibilities, please contact us.
